South Korea consists of major exports that are annually growing and developing. South Korea’s exports contribute approximately 39.4% of the country’s GDP. Some of South Korea’s major exports are the manufacturing of motor vehicles, computers, wireless telecom equipment and steel ships. Manufacturing was South Koreas most emphasized export sector, however since the late 1980s the government was required to make serious structural changes. Through such changes, other areas such as Agriculture, services and technology thrived and significantly improved. Although the U.S and Japan are South Korea’s main trading partners, the trading ties with India have drastically doubled ever since these new export areas were improved. Some of South Korea’s popular electronic exports include; VCRS, semi conductors, fax machines and computers. South Korea is dependent on the imports of capital goods, raw materials and industrial supplies.
